A music format created by Kris Hatlelid, used in Amiga games from 1988-90. The format may be one-filed with built-in replay code or two-filed with external replay code. For playing two-filed modules, the external replay code must be called "songplay" and must be stored in the same directory as the module. "songplay" routines are not compatible and are unique for all modules. Some Amiga games that uses the Kris Hatlelid format are Fiendish Freddy's Big Top O' Fun, Hardball II, Super C, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Test Drive II: The Duel and Wings of Fury.
