File format is used for the music in Jazz Jackrabbit (1994) and possible others. There are currently three file types that use the extension .PSM; they seem to be related to a certain extent, though how is currently unknown. The three formats are: PSM New Format, PSM 16 and PSM Old Format. Currently the most common PSM is the new format.
